How we got here

Where it began
Sid and Saloni met for the first time in a group setting, surrounded by soon-to-be grad-school friends. Little did either of them know that their future person was already right there in the room.

Since then, the two of them never looked back — countless hikes, endless laughs, and trips across multiple continents, each one something they're endlessly grateful for.

The proposal
Sid pulled off a proposal that — thankfully — lived up to Saloni's standards: atop Mt. Acatenango, with Volcán de Fuego erupting in the background. Truly memorable, and forever etched.

Questions
- Where is the wedding taking place?
- At RAAS Devigarh, a restored 18th-century palace just outside Udaipur, Rajasthan. Every event across both days happens here.
- When should I arrive?
- Please plan to arrive by the noon of March 3, and to check out the morning of March 5 once the festivities have wrapped up.
- Where will I stay?
- All guests are housed at RAAS Devigarh — your stay is part of the celebration, so there's no separate accommodation to arrange. Booking and check-in details will follow closer to the date.
- What's the nearest airport?
- Udaipur Airport (UDR), about 40 minutes from the venue. Most international guests connect through Delhi or Mumbai before a short domestic flight to Udaipur.
- What should I wear?
- Each event has its own dress code — see the Attire section above. Expect warm afternoons and cool evenings, with a mix of South Indian, formal, and glamorous looks across the weekend.
- Can I bring a guest?
- Invitations are individual, so we're keeping the celebration to those named on each invite. If you have any questions, please reach out to Sid or Saloni directly.
